Bacolod Pastors with Rev. Leonardo Posadas’ leadership have started their Coffee Fellowship 4 months ago. It is a once a month fellowship usually on a Saturday. Each pastor can give any amount that he can to share for the food for that day but often; Rev. Posadas is the one who covers the expenses to provide a complete meal for the pastors. Pastor Leo Galanza decided to visit the coffee fellowship to be able to encourage the pastors and at the same time prepare them for the December conference. This month became a special fellowship for the pastors because it was a timely occasion to celebrate and remember the 500th year of the Reformation.

The two-part lecture conducted by Pastor Leo was very enlightening and educational to many pastors/ministers and to those who were there during the lecture. Being able to learn the background of Luther and what led him to make a stand that resulted in reforms were of great interest to everyone. Learning about reformation and what it means to us Christians today was precious and worth the day spent with other pastors/ministers. The fellowship was warm and sincere and they all expressed their desire to receive more of that kind of lecture because it helps them get a better view of studying God’s word.

It was also the time of the year wherein Bacolod is celebrating its annual Masskara festival. It was crowded and a difficult time to be in city because of the many festivities within but that did not hinder us from pursuing the one-day fellowship with the pastors/ministers.

The members of Rev. Posadas’ church helped in the preparation of the food and we are grateful for them. The pastors were full and thankful for the encouragement that they received for being a part of the A4C program for pastors/ministers. We were able to distribute a book from First Love Publications which will be a great help for each of the pastors/ministers who completed the whole-day coffee fellowship.
